Small Satsuma Vase, Japan, Meiji period, ovoid form with a small raised tubular mouth, decorated with daimyos and samurai in two shaped panels against a ground with cranes, chrysanthemum seals, and various patterns, unmarked, ht. 4 5/8 in. Estimate $100-200 a chip to mouth rim, minor gilt loss. Items may have wear and tear, imperfections, or the effects of aging.
