Edith Rogers Geiger (American, b. 1912) Modernist Wharf Scene with Shell. Signed and dated "E.R. Geiger '50" l.r. Oil on Masonite or similar, 12 x 16 in., framed. Condition: Minor surface grime. Estimate $20-200 A label on the reverse indicates that the support is "Bone Board, For Permanent Painting." There is also a fragmentary gallery label, with only a few letters remaining "...urritt ART GALLER/New..." affixed to the reverse. Framed dimensions are 16 1/2 x 20 3/8 in.
