Four-sided Satsuma Vase

Four-sided Satsuma Vase, Japan, 19th century, angled pear shape with banded mouth and foot rim, each side decorated with a raised floral design, four-character mark possibly reading "Satsuma Gyokuzan" on base, ht. 7 3/8 in. Estimate $400-600 in good condition with minor surface dirt, gilt loss, and glazing flaws to the interior. Items may have wear and tear, imperfections, or the effects of aging.
