Wucai-style Kutani Ginger Jar and Cover, Japan, oviform with short straight neck, decorated with a dragon-and-cloud design above a blue lappet band with pointed leaves, the semi-domed cover with flanged rim and 'precious jewel' knob, six-character brushed Wanli mark in green cartouche on base, ht. 13 1/2 in.
