European School, 19th Century Pieta with Angels. Unsigned, inscribed indistinctly, perhaps "Luigi...," in ink and "A 237" in pencil on the reverse. Graphite on laid paper with fragmentary watermark, sight size 7 3/4 x 6 3/8 in., framed. Condition: Tear (1 in.) to u.l. edge, toning, acid burn, handling creases, dog-ear crease to l.r. corner, wear to the edges of the sheet.
