Small Black-painted "Crane-gate" Drop-leaf Table, New England, 18th century, the circular top overhangs a straight skirt joining blocked cylindrical legs, later black paint, (restoration), ht. 25, dia. 28 3/4 in. Provenance: Roger Bacon, 1977. Estimate $600-800 one leaf replaced. Traces of red under newer black, one leaf with cracks, some cracks around pinning, hinges changed.
