Attributed to Rezpah E. Eye (Portland, Maine, Early 19th Century) Landscape with Shepherdess Unsigned. Watercolor on paper, 8 1/8 x 10 3/4 in., in a modern mahogany shadow box frame. Condition: Minor toning, not examined out of frame. Provenance: The Grant Collection, New York. Note: Rezpah E. Eye married Charles Dunlap in Portland, Maine, in 1833. This piece came down in the family of Deborah Stanwood, a schoolmate of Rezpah. Deborah was born February 12, 1798.
