"Fanny Pallisear" Needlework Sampler, 1798, worked in silk threads on a linen ground, with alphanumeric lines above a register of three large flowers, and large sparse lower register centering an urn with initials "GW," atop a hill, and maker's name below, all bordered by meandering vines, 20 3/4 x 16 in.
