Stumpwork Picture of Charles II and Catherine of Braganza, England, 17th century, the figures in the center surrounded by flowers, birds, insects, and animals, in a molded black-painted frame, ht. 17 1/2, wd. 21 7/8 in. Estimate $1,500-2,500 There is fading overall and scattered small areas of repair to the silk background, the frame appears to have been cut to fit the image and there is a loss on the edge of the frame at the hanging ring.
