Wedgwood & Bentley Solid Blue Jasper Plaque, England, c. 1775, rectangular shape with applied white relief depiction of The Birth of Dionysus, impressed mark, 5 5/8 x 14 3/4 in.; set in a modern giltwood frame. The Spak Collection of Wedgwood sold to benefit the Florida International Uni Estimate $3,000-5,000 Not examined out of frame. Plaque appears to have a slight bow to it. Applied ground with three firing lines; one other restored. The reverse showing chips to wo back corners and along one back edge. Items may have wear and tear, imperfections, or the effects of aging.
