Magdeburg Polychrome Decorated Creamware Tankard, Germany, 18th century, with depiction of a traveler in a landscape, pewter mounts, ht. 8 in. Estimate $400-600 Vertical hairline, roughly 2 1/2" near traveler; glaze abrasions; glaze loss to handle edges; 2" rim chip and 2" pieces out and repaired to rim under pewter edge.
