Fischer & Mieg Porcelain Covered Urn, Czechoslovakia, early 20th century, heavily gilded with a deep cobalt ground cover, neck socle, and plinth, the bulbous body with cream ground with male masks terminating at coiled snake handles, a central hand-painted polychrome enameled cartouche to either side with classical allegorical subjects, printed Pirkenhammer mark, ht. 32 in. Estimate $800-1,200 In very good condition throughout. Gilt wear to the inside rim where the cover rubbed. No other evidence of any cracks, chips or restorations throughout.
