PRAGA.GENOVA, length of back 356 mm, the silver-mounted bow stamped E.PRAGA GENOVA, weight 49.7 grams, (with original tinsel wrap, and without hair), with case and handwritten note reading "This is a genuine Praga Violin, brought from Italy by D.B. Martinelli June 1892. I value it at $75.00. Jas. J. Moloney." Provenance: James J. Moloney, by family descent. Estimate $30,000-50,000 In excellent condition.
