Pomo Feathered Basket, early 20th century, low oval basket with feather and clamshell disk decoration, ht. 1 1/4, wd. 5 in. Estimate $700-900 All the shell disks are intact. A few of the long feathers are lost. There appears to be some loss of the short red feathers as there are areas of missing feathers, especially on the bottom. A cotton thread running from one end to the other is broken. Items may have wear and tear, imperfections, or the effects of aging.
