Aaron Siskind (American, 1903-1991) Peru 81, 1977. Signed "Aaron Siskind" in ink l.r., titled and dated "...1977" in ink l.l., annotated "P81 3/77 6 x" in pencil on the verso. Gelatin silver print, image size 10 1/8 x 10 in. (25.7 x 25.4 cm), matted, unframed. Condition: Very minor handling crimps, minor wear to corners. Estimate $1,000-1,500 The sheet measures 14 x 11 inches. Faint markings near outside corners of image, likely from where it was once squared to be matted. Minor staining to verso - see condition photos. No other condition issues to report. Items may have wear and tear, imperfections, or the effects of aging.
