Stenciled Mahogany Box, 19th century, with gold floral sprays in the corners and applied lid and base molding, brass plate with modern engraving "Jacob Miller/1851," ht. 8 1/2, wd. 19, dp. 10 in. Estimate $20-200 a few minor chips to the base and the upper section of lock is bent. Items may have wear and tear, imperfections, or the effects of aging.
