Chinese, 19th century. Carved cinnabar snuff bottle with courtly figures in formal garden settings surrounded by flowers and arabesques flanked at top and bottom by leaf tip borders. Snuff bottle with round floral motif finial with small spoon for accessing interior of vessel. Snuff bottle later converted into necklace pendant with chained links. Unmarked. Height of bottle 3".
