Five Wedgwood Majolica Items, England, c. 1871, each similarly polychrome enamel decorated and molded in the Stanley pattern with flowerhead borders to a basketweave center, after a design by Frederick Bret Russel, two low compotes, dia. 8 3/4, ht. 2 7/8; a tall compote, dia. 9, ht. 6; an oval serving dish, lg. 12 1/4; and a covered dish with stand, stand dia. 7 7/8 in.; impressed marks. Estimate $500-700 Each of the four dishes with light and even abrasions to centers. Covered dish has rim chips restored to the cover.
