Four Pieces of Joanna Constantanidis (British, 1927-2000) Studio Pottery, England, c. 1980, copper glazed porcelain, three abstract small-mouthed vessels and a vase with internal swirl, all with artist's impressed "C" mark, ht. 4 1/2, 5 in. Note: Constantanidis was born in New York, received her training at Sheffield College of Art and lectured at the Shelmer Institute, Chelmsford, Essex. Her work is in the Victoria & Albert Museum and she exhibited in England, United States. She received a gold medal at the International Ceramics Exhibition in Prague in 1965, and a Medal of Honor at the Faenza International Ceramic Exhibition in 1978. Estimate $300-500 Good condition.
