Henry Hammond Ahl (American, 1869-1953) Sheep in a Wood. Signed "Ahl" l.r., inscribed indistinctly on the stretcher. Oil on canvas, 16 x 20 in., framed. Condition: A few scattered small paint losses, flaking, two divots in canvas and small abrasion to u.r. quadrant, lifting, craquelure, surface grime.
