Editio princeps, large octavo, woodcut printer's device to title, text printed in Greek, bound in very good contemporary Dutch parchment with yapp edges and green silk ties, edges neatly speckled in alternating bands of red and black, ex libris John Hay, 1st Marquess and 2nd Earl of Tweeddale (1625-1697), with his engraved bookplate inside the front board, slight water stains to corners of some signatures; *8, **4, A-Z8, a-z8, Aa-[Theta]8, 896 pages (of 899 numbered pages and ten unnumbered leaves, lacking all after 896); with a large section of blank pages bound after the printed text, 8 1/2 x 5 3/4 in.
