Quarto format, fifty-four parchment leaves, text in Italian, with some smaller sections in Latin, each page with a hand-drawn decorative border, Italian text in a roman letter, Latin in an italic hand, black and red ink throughout, with decorative initials, other decorative elements, with an addition dated 1745 at the end, and index, the body of the text likely 17th century, bound in 18th century half leather with decorated paper-covered boards, 9 1/4 x 6 1/2 in.
