Chinese, 20th Century. Pair of Chinese rosewood and mother-of-pearl inlaid two tier end or side tables, the upper structure inset with marble and inlaid with birds and foliage in mother of pearl over a carved inlaid frieze with pierced cartouche centering a phoenix on cabriole legs, the lower table top similarly decorated with inset marble and inlaid all over the birds and foliage on all three sides, the center apron pierced and carved with a dragon, raised on four cabriole legs joined by matching side stretchers. Height 30.5", width 15.25", depth 22".
