Claus Hoie (Norwegian/American, 1911-2007) Three Works on Paper: Page 26 of the Log of The Whaler Helena, Shore Leave, and Ship and Giant Squid. Shore signed l.r., each identified and titled on labels from the Maine Maritime Museum affixed to the backing. Watercolor and ink on paper, sight sizes to 21 x 29 in., framed. Condition: Good, not examined out of frames. N.B. Shore Leave was used as an illustration in Hoie's 1994 book, The Log of the Whaler Helena.
