Civil War "Liberty Cap" Pipe Bowl, c. 1861-65, carved wooden bowl with foliate designs, flowers, acorns, and on the front a Liberty cap on a pole, with a bone ferrule around the stem hole, lg. 3 1/8 in. Provenance: The collection of Ron Tunison. Estimate $300-500 In very good condition with no stem. Items may have wear and tear, imperfections, or the effects of aging.
