British Ordnance-marked Canteen, c. 1861, blue-painted oak drum canteen with iron bands and iron sling keepers, marked on the face with a broad arrow over "861," also marked "D BRADFORD/Q & M/1861," dia. 7 1/4, dp. 3 7/8 in. Provenance: The collection of Ron Tunison. Estimate $300-500 Paint has toned to a dark blue, in overall very good condition. Items may have wear and tear, imperfections, or the effects of aging.
