1808 State of Connecticut Contract Musket, c. 1814, .72 bore, walnut stock, steel fittings, lock plate marked in front of the cock "S. CT," barrel marked on the breech with "P" and "M" markings as well as "14," with an iron ramrod, barrel lg. 40 1/2, overall lg. 55 1/4 in. Estimate $900-1,200 Stock has some dings and nicks, metal has some dark spotting, and the lock functions properly. Items may have wear and tear, imperfections, or the effects of aging.
