U.S.A.," and "SMITH'S PATENT/JUNE 23 1857," octagonal to round barrel marked on the left side "L.F.R.," barrel lg. 21 5/8, overall lg. 39 1/4 in. Estimate $1,500-2,000 Stock is in excellent condition with a few minor dings and dents, receiver retains most of its color case hardening and the barrel retains most of its original blue, overall in very good condition.
