Pillow Pommel Saber, c. early 19th century, gilt-brass hilt with five-ball knuckle bow and counterguard, reeded bone grip, blued-steel blade with gilt foliate designs, panoply of arms, and eagle, blade lg. 30, overall lg. 35 1/2 in. Estimate $500-700 Some gilt remains on the recessed areas of the hilt, the blade has some blue remaining. Items may have wear and tear, imperfections, or the effects of aging.
