ASTON" in front of the cock, tail marked "MIDDTN/CONN/1847," breech marked "US/NWP/P," barrel lg. 8 1/2, overall lg. 14 1/4 in. Estimate $800-1,200 Stock has a few very light dings and nicks, lock has a few areas of very light spotting, and the lock functions properly.
