Short Barrel Pennsylvania-style Rifle/Blanket Gun, c. early to mid-19th century, bore .50, figured maple stock with brass fittings, German silver inlays, and a pewter nose cap, converted lock marked "WARREN/& STEELE/ALBANY," octagonal barrel with a brass site, barrel lg. 5 1/2, overall lg. 22 in. Estimate $800-1,200 Stock has a few dings and nicks and a repair in front of the lock, lock goes to full cock but needs work. Items may have wear and tear, imperfections, or the effects of aging.
