French Model 1777 Pistol, c. 1782, .69 bore, walnut stock with a 1782 dated cartouche, brass butt cap and frame, marked under the cock "St Etienne" with a crown over "L," belt hook on the left side, breech marked "82," with an iron ramrod, barrel lg. 7 1/2, overall lg. 13 1/2 in. Estimate $1,000-1,500 Stock has a few dings and nicks and the lock functions properly. Items may have wear and tear, imperfections, or the effects of aging.
