French Model 1777 Pistol, c. 1777-87, .69 bore, walnut stock with brass butt cap and frame, very light marking under the cock, with an iron ramrod, barrel lg. 7 1/2, overall lg. 13 1/2 in. Estimate $1,000-1,500 Stock has a few dings and nicks, steel has some dark spots, the cock and hammer are a light plum color, the arsenal mark is worn off as is the date stamp on the breech, and the lock functions properly.
