French Model 1777 Pistol, c. 1782, .70 bore, walnut stock with brass butt cap and frame, marked under the cock "St Etienne" with a crown over "L," breech marked "82," with an iron ramrod, barrel lg. 7 1/2, overall lg. 13 1/2 in. Estimate $1,000-1,500 Stock has a few light dings and nicks, ramrod has a few pits near the button, and the lock functions properly.
