Cheesebox Canteen, c. early 19th century, green-painted body with red-painted border around the edge, red-painted "W.A." on the obverse, with a leather strap, dia. 6 1/4, wd. 2 7/8 in. Estimate $300-500 Some paint loss from use, the strap has some cracking and flaking but complete. Items may have wear and tear, imperfections, or the effects of aging.
