Relics of the Soviet Navy Cruiser Aurora, c. 1903, a bosun's whistle and chain, an aluminum bowl, soupspoon, teaspoon, and fork, and an enamelware creamer, sugar, and tea mug, with provenance note from Boat Base Monterey. Provenance: Boat Base Monterey Museum to Rodney Hilton Brown Collection; The War Museum. Note: The cruiser Aurora fired the first shot from her forecastle gun that signaled the start of the assault on the Czar's winter palace at the start of the Russian Revolution in 1917.
