Boldly Grain-painted Pine Blanket Chest over Three Drawers, New England, late 18th/early 19th century, molded lift top above a case of three faux and three working graduated drawers, on bracket base, (imperfections and minor paint wear), ht. 51 1/4, wd. 37 1/2, dp. 18 1/2 in. Estimate $800-1,200 top has evidence of being screwed shut, probably for while in transit in the 19th century. Hinges are new replacements.
