Wrought Iron Spring-loaded Candleholder, possibly Virginia, 18th century, the spring tension candleholder on a straight shaft with arched legs and penny feet, ht. 8 1/4 in. Provenance: Mary Campbell, Lewisburg, West Virginia. According to the previous owner, the candleholder descended through the family of George Mason IV.
