Federal Inlaid Cherry Scroll-top Desk/Bookcase, probably Ohio, early 19th century, the molded swan's neck cresting ending in carved and inlaid discs, centering a carved and inlaid plinth issuing a shaped device which joins the scroll top together, above upper bookcase section, and lower section of slant lid and four thumb-molded graduated drawers, all with string inlay, on shaped and carved apron joining flaring French feet, replaced brasses, old refinish, (imperfections), ht. 87 3/4, lower case wd. 38, lower case dp. 18 1/4 in.
