Queen Anne Rush-seat Side Chair, probably Connecticut River Valley, c. 1740-50, the spooned crest above a vasiform splat which fits into a molded shoe, on trapezoidal rushed seat, valanced front and side seat rails, and block, vase, and ring turnings on pad feet, ht. 43, seat ht. 18 3/4 in.
