Unusual Set of a LeCoultre Wrist Alarm and Pocket Alarm Watch, c. 1950s, stainless steel case wristwatch in NOS condition, applied silvered arabic numerals, marked "LeCoultre/Wrist Alarm," blued sweep center seconds, luminous dauphine hands, and alarm hand, dual crowns, screw-back ring case marked "665538," on what appears to be the original leather band, manual-wind movement; together with an aluminum-cased pocket watch or desk clock with silvered dial, blued sweep center seconds, luminous hands and alarm indicator, marked "LeCoultre," dual crowns at 11 and 1, snap-back case with folding easel-style stand marked "677177," 17-jewel, manual-wind, caliber 814 movement, with original box, dia. 34 and 41 mm, respectively. Note: These pieces were most likely for the American market as the dials do not read "Memovox" nor "Jaeger-LeCoultre" on them. Estimate $4,000-6,000 did not attempt to remove wristwatch back due to the LeCoultre ring, currently winding setting and ticking, alarm sounds intermittently, desk clock winds sets and ticks, alarm also not functioning properly.
