Four-piece Charters, Cann & Dunn Coin Silver Coffee Service, New York, c. 1850, J & I Cox, retailer, each with engraved inscription to one side, coffeepot, teapot, creamer, covered sugar, and waste bowl, coffeepot ht. 10 1/4 in., approx. 74.1 troy oz. Estimate $1,200-1,800 Creamer with feet bent up (still sits well), a few small dents. Covered sugar with a 1 inch linear dent, few minor pinprick dents. Coffeepot with one bent foot (wobbles), handle loose (not pinned to body, lacking pins). Items may have wear and tear, imperfections, or the effects of aging.
