Andrew Meneely Plain Surveyor's Compass, Gibbonsville, New York, c. 1828, 6 1/2-in. dia. engraved silvered dial marked "A. Meneely, Gibbonsville," with fleur-de-lis representing north, dual levels, sighting vanes, housed in its original slide lid mahogany box, lg. 15 in. Note: This is the earliest Meneely mark.
