French Gilt Brass and Marble Annular Clock, c. 1885, gilt doves atop the oblong blue sphere with applied stars, and roman numeral porcelain annular dial ring, all being held aloft by three cherubs and a string of garland, white marble base with inset gilt ornamentation, and mushroom-shaped tri-foot base, eight-day time and strike movement with platform escapement. ht. 20 in.
