Dated 1791 Needlework Sampler, England, by Elisabeth Mayor, in a variety of stitches and colors including green, brown, blue, buff, and black with alphabet bands above a religious verse with motifs below including deer, lions, trees, ship, and figures, signed and dated "Elisabeth Mayor Aged 11 Leviand(? ) School 1791," sight size 11 3/4 x 12 3/4 in.; set in a bird's-eye maple frame.
