Staffordshire White Salt-glazed Stoneware Figure of Spinario, England, c. 1760, modeled as a Greco-Roman boy seated atop a low mound removing a thorn from his foot, with splashes of cobalt and brown slip to the eyes, lg. 4 1/4, ht. 4 1/4 in.
