Chinese export, late 19th/ early 20th century. A sterling silver overlay glass partitioned vase with four internal compartments within a single gourd long necked form. Sterling overlay decoration of bamboo shoots form four open cartouches around the vase, with open work bamboo leaves filling the negative space between and above reaching to a solid band of sterling that covers the vase neck, with a silver round saucer foot. Marked on bottom "Sterling". Approximately 10 7/8" tall x 4" diamater at base.
