Japanese, early 20th century. A pair of watercolor paintings on rice paper comprising of one painting of a Kingfisher bird resting on a reed above water, surrounded by rust colored flowers, and a small black and white bird perched on the ground beneath a pink flowering bush. Inscribed and signed on either side of composition with red stamp and calligraphic marks. Framed 18" x 16", sight size 10.5" x 9".
