Frank Gallo (American, 1933-2019) Female Bust Stamped "70/GALLO" on the back of hair and "GALLO" throughout the back of hair, Christie's sticker inscribed "Ref# EY683-1/Line# 1/Dept. CAP/up" affixed to underside of plinth. Polyester resin and pigment, height 26 in. (66.0 cm), on a plastic plinth. Condition: Dust and dirt to interstices, minor surface imperfection to left side of neck. Provenance: Purchased by the current owner from Christie's New York, Contemporary Paintings - Drawings and Sculpture, November 14, 1989, Lot 490 (ill. p. 79 of the catalog).
