Anne Packard (American, b. 1933) Still Life with Apples Signed "A. PACKARD" l.l. Oil on canvas, 9 x 11 in. (22.9 x 27.9 cm), framed. Condition: Minor surface grime. Estimate $800-1,200 Framed dimensions are 12 1/2 x 14 1/2 x 1 in. Small accretion to l.r. corner. A shallow, broken, diagonal line through the bottom of the apple on the left which appears to be original to the work, perhaps created with the tip of a brush handle, rather than any kind of later abrasion. It is in keeping with the other surfaces. No additional condition issues to report. Items may have wear and tear, imperfections, or the effects of aging. Any condition statement given, as a courtesy to a client, is only an opinion and should not be treated as a statement of fact. Skinner shall have no responsibility for any error or omission.
